Parwira Pangaribuan, S.H, M.B.A. is one of the founding partners of RP&P. He has expertise and in-depth knowledge of mining industry, consumer goods, government affairs, public policy and good corporate governance matters. Parwira received law degree from The University of Indonesia and is a graduate of the Institut Teknologi Bandung School of Business and Management (MBA majoring in Business Administration). His dual educational background empowers him to tackle legal challenges strategically, comprehending the nexus of law and business. The MBA background allows Parwira to see beyond legal statutes. With his belief in ethical advocacy, his legal and moral compass points definitively towards fairness, transparency, and the greater good.
With over 15 years of invaluable practical professional experience, Parwira navigates the intricate relationship between corporations and government bodies with finesse. He has honed his skills as a bridge builder, advocate, and strategic thinker. His passion lies in shaping policies, fostering collaboration, ensuring that businesses thrive within the regulatory landscape and in strategic decision-making.
Parwira started his career in 2009 at one of the world’s leading mining companies in Papua and was involved in the negotiations for contracts with the government of the Republic of Indonesia. During his tenure with this company, he managed complex negotiations with key stakeholders both centrally and locally, unravelling the complex elements of the contract and safeguarding company’s interest. Afterwards, he joined a fast-moving consumer goods sector – tobacco company in 2018, before becoming the head of corporate affairs for Indonesia and Philippines of an international alcohol company based in Jakarta from 2020 to 2024.
