Frangki Boas Rajagukguk, S.H., M.H. is a talented lawyer with more than 15 years of legal experience and practice. He graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Indonesia with a Bachelor of Laws degree (Sarjana Hukum) in 2008, majoring in Legal Practitioner (Praktisi Hukum). He continued his studies at the University of Indonesia and obtained a Master of Laws degree (Magister Hukum) in 2022.
Frangki started his professional career as a practicing lawyer at Nurjadin Sumono Mulyadi and Partners Law Office. Afterwards, he joined Ali Budiardjo Nugroho Reksodiputro Counsellors at Law, a prominent law firm in Jakarta in July 2013. Following this, Frangki joined Asshiddiqie Pangaribuan and Partners Law Firm in December 2020 prior to establishing Rajagukguk Pangaribuan and Partners Law Firm.
Frangki has been involved in various areas of law including civil, commercial, arbitration, criminal, administrative and industrial relations dispute cases and has gained extensive experience in these particular practice areas of law. He represents and accompanies domestic and foreign clients during negotiations with counterparts, mediations at courts and the Manpower Office. Frangki has aided in investigations at the offices of the police and district attorneys as well as partaking in cross-examinations before the court. He also advised and represented several clients in debt restructuring through court proceedings (Penundaan Kewajiban Pembayaran Utang – PKPU).

- Represented a China state-owned finance institution as a creditor in debt restructuring through court proceedings against PT Bumi Resources, Tbk.;
- Successfully defended an Indonesian subsidiary a publicly listed Thai financial services company against a USD 7 million breach of contract claim brought by an Indonesian publicly listed bank in connection with client’s alleged failure to comply with the terms of an agreement for the provision of customer financing;
- Successfully defended an oil and gas services provider against a claim brought by a former employee for severance pay at the Industrial Relations Court;
- Successfully defended a leading European luxury car manufacturer and its distributor against a personal injuries claim for IDR 100 billion brought by an individual, who claimed that the defendant committed a wrongful act by recklessly producing, assembling and distributing a vehicle that caught fire while the plaintiff was driving it;
- Successfully defended a leading European luxury car manufacturer as a co-defendant in a tort-based claim filed by a local company before the District Court of South Jakarta.
- Successfully defended a multinational consumer goods company in a dispute over the termination of an employee for what the client viewed as a serious breach of the company’s internal regulations and code of conduct;
- Represented the local subsidiary of a Japanese financial company as defendant in a breach of contract dispute before the District Court of South Jakarta;
- Successfully defended local subsidiary of a Japanese financial company as defendant against a claim brought by a former employee for severance pay at the Industrial Relations Court;
- Represented a distributor of Japanese cars in a criminal case involving an employee of the company;
- Represented a local telecommunication and electrical company as a creditor in debt restructuring through court proceedings against PT Rekayasa Industri.
